We take responsibility for the ongoing operation and management of the irrigation systems entrusted to our care.
That may include spring startup, controller programming, seasonal monitoring, adjustments, repairs, backflow testing, winterization, upgrades and coordination with landscape or property-management teams. The objective is dependable performance with minimal client involvement.

We support systems from initial design and construction through decades of seasonal operation, maintenance, repairs and upgrades.
Spring startup
We turn on the irrigation water supply, activate and test the complete system, check controller functions and complete minor repairs required for reliable operation.
Seasonal monitoring
We program and manage watering through the season. Compatible smart controllers can also support remote adjustments and response to available alerts.
Winterization
The water supply is shut down and the entire system is progressively purged using 185 cfm of high-volume, low-pressure compressed air to protect it from freezing.
Service & repairs
Experienced technicians arrive with stocked vehicles, the correct parts, system records and detailed property knowledge for efficient diagnosis and dependable repairs.
Design & installation
Our certified team provides the complete package—from water-conscious design through construction—for estate homes, stratas, hotels, commercial sites and complex landscapes.
Backflow testing & repair
Five Certified Active Testers, supported by four sets of approved, currently calibrated testing equipment, can test, repair or replace backflow assemblies and complete the required municipal documentation.
Baskets & planter irrigation
We provide discreet automatic irrigation for hanging baskets, planter pots, rooftop plantings and other specialized areas requiring consistent seasonal watering.
Landscape lighting
Low-voltage lighting systems improve safety and security while subtly highlighting architecture, planting and natural landscape features.

Paul Hauschka founded Whistler Irrigation with his father, whose industry experience included 14 years as President of Rain Bird Canada.
That manufacturer-level background established the technical standards, service philosophy and long-term approach that continue to guide the company. Whistler Irrigation also helped develop the IIABC standards used for professional landscape irrigation in British Columbia. Most service staff have now been with us for more than 25 years, and most service clients for well over a decade.
