About Whistler Irrigation
Professional irrigation management, service and construction in Whistler and Pemberton since 1988.
Our foundation
Whistler Irrigation Services was founded by Paul Hauschka and his father, who previously spent 14 years as President of Rain Bird Canada.
That background brought manufacturer-level technical expertise and advanced irrigation standards to Whistler. It shaped a service philosophy based on sound design, precise work, reliable operation and accountability for each system over the long term.
Since then, the company has designed and installed more than 1,000 irrigation systems and grown to serve more than 1,300 residential and commercial clients annually.
Experience with continuity
Most service clients have relied on Whistler Irrigation for well over a decade, and many relationships extend considerably longer. That history gives each season valuable context.
Most service staff have been with the company for more than 25 years. Their familiarity with Whistler systems and operating conditions supports consistent, informed work.
Technicians often know a property’s layout, service history, recurring concerns and seasonal requirements—and in many cases our team originally designed or installed the system. Digital as-built records and long-term service history travel with the technician.
Full-responsibility management
Landscapes mature. Components wear. Weather, exposure, construction and planting changes affect both scheduling and coverage. Our role is to recognize those changes and keep the system operating properly throughout the season and over the years. Whistler Irrigation also helped develop the professional IIABC standards used for landscape irrigation design and installation in British Columbia.
Whistler & Pemberton expertise
Mountain terrain, a short operating season and freezing winters create irrigation requirements that are different from those in milder regions.
Our technicians understand the conditions, property types and irrigation infrastructure found throughout Whistler and Pemberton. That familiarity helps us diagnose problems efficiently, make informed recommendations and coordinate work with owners, strata representatives, managers, landscapers and contractors.
Complete seasonal management for homeowners who prefer one experienced team to handle startup, scheduling, monitoring, repairs and winterization.
Ongoing system knowledge, coordinated communication and informed planning for complex sites with multiple stakeholders.
Seasonal oversight and responsive service that protect landscape quality while respecting guests, tenants and daily operations.
Certified design and construction support for new development, renovations, system upgrades and changing landscapes.
